Bankers Without Borders
I am thrilled to share that I designed and developed the first logo and website for Bankers Without Borders®, a brand new non-profit dedicated to connecting professional volunteers with microfinance institutions worldwide. Bankers Without Borders is a fledgling organization of Grameen Foundation. I developed the logo and website within the constraints of very specific style guidelines provided by Grameen. I developed the site using the open source CMS technology, Drupal 6.x. Since this was BWB's first public appearance through a website, Wendy Williams developed and culled the content and funneled it to me.

"While the BwB program director was on maternity leave and there was a vacancy in the online communications department at Grameen Foundation, Neelu took charge of the project and provided much needed relief to the two Grameen Foundation staff members and the other volunteer assisting with the website. Through her seemingly infinite knowledge of information architecture, site development, Drupal capabilities and Adobe Flash, among other areas of expertise, Neelu was able to guide me and my colleague through the entire process. She was very communicative about timelines and the information she needed to complete her tasks and also provided great insight into improving our initial designs ranging from tweaking branding guidelines to adjusting modules for functionality.
Neelu is creative, thoughtful, efficient and, above all, patient. I would happily work with her again on any number of projects. I firmly believe that the Bankers without Borders website would not have gotten off the ground without such a dedicated, dependable and highly-skilled volunteer." -- Taylor Robinson, Marketing and Communications, Bankers Without Borders®
"I am just thrilled with the new website – you and Wendy did an excellent job and have made such a huge contribution to the program." -- Shannon Maynard, Director of Bankers Without Borders®
